Connecting Through Technology
The Using Technology to Connect with Older Members initiative assists ABCORI-related congregations use technology to reach out to people in the third third of life. The program makes grants available for expenses such as:

Connecting Through Service
Repairing Homes, Restoring Hope helps make connections with older homeowners who need a hand. The program offers help with smaller projects, such as installing safety devices, making minor repairs, and cleaning up yards. The program also partners with congregations to assist homeowners with larger projects.
This mission-centered program also offers a variety of opportunities for volunteers of all ages to put their faith into action by contributing their time and talents to improve the lives of older adults.

Connecting Through Improvements
The Baptist Home Board, a ministry affiliated with the American Baptist Churches of Rhode Island, awards a number of smaller grants to congregations each year. The grants are designed to help congregations with improvements that specifically benefit the elderly and disabled. (Projects that benefit the congregation as a whole and/or amount to maintenance or repair are not eligible for these grants.)
This grant program could help a congregation install or repair a ramp; make a restroom more accessible; purchase materials or devices; or begin a new program.

- Software or hardware to assist with virtual programs and worship services.
